WeSort.AI GmbH is a high-tech start-up from Würzburg that is revolutionizing recycling through artificial intelligence and is thus making a significant contribution to the urgently needed circular economy. Our deep learning systems enable both granular analysis and sorting of, for example, electronic waste and various plastics. In 2023, we were one of six start-ups nationwide to be awarded the prestigious Founders' Prize plus from the Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWK) for our systems. In 2024, we received the next major award as one of the winners of the German Founders' Prize, initiated by Stern, Sparkasse, ZDF and Porsche.

In addition, at WeSort.AI we work on research projects with well-known partners such as Fraunhofer and Siemens to combat climate change and ocean pollution.

Recording different waste streams to generate data:

Recording image data of waste samples in the technical center and in waste sorting plants on site
Data storage, cleaning, annotation, enrichment of image data
Assessment of waste streams and their composition

During the induction phase, you will be shown and explained everything.

You inspire us

Mechanical skills
Moderate willingness to travel and “can-do” qualities
Min. 3 years of professional experience in a skilled trade
Desire to exchange ideas with team and customers
Good knowledge of German
