Which products does WeSort.AI offer?

The product portfolio consists of three major products. X.Sort: A cutting-edge solution for sorting batteries from all types of waste streams. Vision.Sort: A highly adaptable sorting system for separating various materials. It can be programmed to suit specific use cases and customer requirements. Vision.Insights: A powerful analytical tool for waste stream data, offering actionable insights tailored to individual customer needs.

Which waste streams can be covered by the products of WeSort.AI?

In general all waste streams can be covered by X.Sort and Vision.Insights. Vision.Sort can also be implemented on all waste streams. The most efficient applications are batteries, electronic waste, packaging and construction and demolition waste.

What are major benefits of usage of WeSort.AI products?

Major benefits are real preventive fire protection and access to insurance coverage, reduction of personnel costs through elimination of manual sorting as well as an improved material recovery rate.

When are X-ray cameras used?

Unfortunately, more and more batteries and electrical appliances containing batteries, as well as other contaminants, are mistakenly disposed of in normal household waste instead of being disposed of via the designated take-back system. These are then damaged during processing in the sorting plants, resulting in an increasing number of major fires in sorting plants. Our X-ray sensor technology can scan the material flow in a similar way to an airport baggage scanner and identify the battery using AI. It is then safely ejected via compressed air nozzles.

Do the modules always contain several cameras?

The sensor technology for evaluating the material flow varies depending on the material flow and sorting task.

How heavy is the hardware?

Our sensor boxes weigh between 30 kg and 50 kg, whole sorters usually 1-2 tons, X-ray sorters approx. 10 tons.

How are the sensor boxes attached and at what distance from the conveyor belt are they positioned?

The sensor systems are fitted with a bracket and associated lighting above a conveyor belt in the system. This varies depending on the system and is usually 0.5 - 1 meter.
