Protect your plant with X.Sort

Prevent fires before they start. Batteries, gas cartridges and solid metal parts pose a daily risk to your plant. X.Sort uses X-rays to scan the material flow and reliably detects hazardous substances, even when deeply concealed within thick layers of material. The result: over 90 per cent fewer battery-related fires.​​

Get the most out of it. Conventional sensor technology only recognises material categories. Vision.Sort identifies specific objects by their colour, shape and structure. This ensures that valuable material remains in the recycling loop rather than ending up in incinerators.​​

From analysis to a single-variety fraction

Our systems operate on the same principle, regardless of whether X-rays or a camera are used.

Analysis

An analysis unit detects every object on the conveyor belt. X-ray technology scans through dense layers of material, whilst optical cameras capture images of the surface. Our AI evaluates the data in a fraction of a second.

Ejection

Detected objects are discharged in a targeted manner, either automatically via a compressed-air nozzle or manually via a customised discharge mechanism. Precisely tailored to your plant and your material.

Sorting

The end result is a single-type fraction, free from hazardous substances and contaminants, and enriched with the recyclable materials that are truly worthwhile.
